Summer Bishil (born June 15 in 1985) is an American actress best recognized for her role as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy show that ran from 2015 to present. Her previous role as a Lebanese American young woman Jasira who is undergoing an array of struggles in the context of U.S. military conflict in Iraq was part of Alan Ball's feature film Towelhead. In the following year, she was named one of the 10 actors in Variety's list of actors to watch in 2007. The actress also had a dramatic part in the 2009 crime drama Crossing Over. For this the role, she was nominated in the Independent Spirit Award under the category of Female Lead. Her other film roles include Moozlum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake in addition to a variety of guest TV appearances.
